Pharmacist | New Lexington, Ohio

A hospital pharmacy pharmacist role is available in Logan, OH, supporting a 25-bed licensed facility. This contract opportunity begins between September 8th and 14th and extends for 13 weeks or more. The position involves a 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with some on-call responsibilities and occasional Saturday shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently within the hospital setting.
• Collaborate with medical staff in specialty areas including Emergency Department, Infusion, and Orthopedics.
• Utilize the EPIC order entry system for medication orders and documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotations and support weekend coverage as needed.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and pharmacy regulations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Ohio Pharmacist license is required.
• Minimum of 1 year hospital pharmacy experience.
• Proficiency with the EPIC electronic order entry system is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment with multiple specialties.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Occasional Saturdays, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• On-call duties following selected shifts
