Pharmacist - New Orleans, LA

A healthcare facility near New Orleans is seeking a Critical Care / Clinical Pharmacist for a 13-week contract assignment, starting on July 14. The position is scheduled for day shifts from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on every other week basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver clinical pharmacy support in critical care settings, particularly Level 1 trauma cases.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy for ICU patients.
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records to document and manage medication use.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and best practices in critical care pharmacotherapy.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• At least one year of recent critical care or clinical pharmacy experience.
• Level 1 trauma experience is required.
• PGY-2 residency training is highly preferred but not mandatory.
• Active Louisiana pharmacist license is required.
• Board certification in pharmacy specialties is preferred.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
