Per Diem Pharmacist in New Pine Creek, OR

A per diem pharmacist opportunity is available at a critical access hospital with a 25-bed capacity and an average daily census of 10 beds. This role involves providing coverage for specific weeks over a 13-week period. The position offers weekday shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with no on-call requirements.

Responsibilities include:

• Serving as the staff pharmacist during assigned coverage periods
• Managing medication order entry using Cerner systems
• Utilizing Omnicell automation for medication dispensing
• Collaborating closely with a pharmacy team supported by two pharmacy technicians daily
• Ensuring compliance with hospital and regulatory standards for inpatient pharmacy operations
• Performing sterile compounding in alignment with guidelines

Desired qualifications include:

• Experience in an inpatient pharmacy setting
• Proficient sterile compounding skills
• Valid Oregon pharmacy license
