Pharmacist - New York Mills, MN

A specialized pharmacist opportunity is available at a reputable specialty pharmacy in Wadena, MN, offering a dynamic mix of retail and long-term care pharmacy duties. This contract position, expected to last 13+ weeks, is perfect for a licensed pharmacist seeking to apply their expertise in a community-focused setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive long-term care pharmacist duties
• Manage retail pharmacy services, including medication dispensing and counseling
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
• Provide immunizations and patient education
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy

Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota pharmacist license
• PharmD degree or MTM (Medication Therapy Management) certification preferred
• Immunization Certification and CPR Certification required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Closed on weekends
