Per Diem Pharmacist | New York, New York

A retail pharmacist position is available on a per diem basis in New York, NY, offering opportunities primarily during afternoon and evening shifts. This role is ideal for professionals with community or retail pharmacy experience seeking flexible workdays, including October 1, 2, 5, and additional dates moving forward. The schedule runs from 10:45 AM to 7:15 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Manage prescription order entry efficiently using PioneerRx software.
• Provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Support immunization services when certified.
• Collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians, including utilizing Spanish-language support for non-English speaking patients.
• Maintain compliance with state pharmacy regulations and standards.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and unrestricted New York State Pharmacist License.
• Demonstrated experience in community or retail pharmacy settings.
• Strong preference for familiarity with PioneerRx pharmacy system.
• Immunization certification is highly desirable.
• Spanish fluency is a plus but not mandatory, given available translation support.
