Per Diem Pharmacist | New York, New York

This Per Diem opportunity is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to provide expert verification and checking of prescriptions in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

Location: New York, NY
Schedule:

• Monday through Saturday
• Day and evening shifts available

Responsibilities:

• Accurately check and verify prescriptions (PV2) to ensure patient safety and compliance with regulations
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail during dispensing
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to support efficient pharmacy operations
• Uphold all pharmacy policies and procedures in line with professional standards

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy or closed-door fulfillment setting
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining focus and accuracy
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
