Per Diem Pharmacist in Newark, NJ

This role is for a Retail Pharmacist providing ongoing Saturday coverage from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM in Newark, NJ. You will manage a moderate prescription volume averaging 50 scripts per day using Best RX software. This per diem position offers a flexible schedule ideal for professionals seeking supplemental hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications and verify dosage and instructions
• Provide patient counseling and answer medication-related questions
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in the pharmacy system
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear New Jersey pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a licensed pharmacist
• Proficiency in Best RX pharmacy software preferred
• Korean language skills strongly preferred to support the local community
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
