Per Diem Pharmacist | Newark, New Jersey

A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a qualified pharmacist to provide ongoing Saturday coverage. This per diem position offers a focused schedule from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM, managing a low prescription volume of approximately 50 scripts per day. The pharmacy system utilized is Best RX.

Location: Newark, NJ
Schedule:

• Saturdays, 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately filling prescriptions and verifying the accuracy of dispensed medications
• Counseling patients on medication usage, side effects, and answering their questions
• Performing data entry tasks related to prescriptions and patient information
• Ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year recent pharmacy experience required
• Valid, clear, and active New Jersey pharmacist license
• Korean language skills are preferred to effectively serve the local community
• Proficiency with Best RX software is advantageous
