Join a growing healthcare organization as a Community Pharmacist supporting the launch of a brand-new outpatient pharmacy. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the inaugural pharmacy team and help shape pharmacy services within a mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to serving underserved communities. With multiple pharmacy expansion projects already planned, this role offers strong long-term growth potential.

Assignment Details

  • Expected Pharmacy Opening: August

  • Employment Type: Full Time

  • Contract to Hire

  • Pharmacy Hours: Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Pharmacy System: MicroMerchant / PrimeRx

  • Collaborative FQHC and 340B environment

  • Opportunity to help launch a new pharmacy operation

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently

  • Counsel patients on medication use, adherence, and disease state management

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes

  • Support 340B pharmacy operations and compliance initiatives

  • Maintain accurate patient records and medication documentation

  • Assist with workflow development and operational processes during pharmacy launch

  • Provide exceptional customer service to a diverse patient population

  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and organizational pharmacy regulations

Experience Required

  • 1–2+ years of community or retail pharmacy experience

  • Experience serving diverse patient populations preferred

  • FQHC and/or 340B experience highly preferred but not required

  • Experience with MicroMerchant or PrimeRx preferred but not required

  • Strong patient counseling and communication skills

Education & Licensure

  • PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program

  • Active New Jersey Pharmacist license required

Additional Qualifications

  • Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred

  • Passion for serving medically underserved communities

  • Ability to thrive in a growing and evolving healthcare environment

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

  • Interest in long-term career growth within an expanding pharmacy network

Compensation for this position ranges from $50.00 to $72.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
