A healthcare facility in need of dedicated pharmacy professionals has an immediate opening for a Pharmacist to support their 250-bed hospital. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with a Missouri pharmacist license and some hospital experience, looking to contribute in a dynamic clinical environment using EPIC and Omnicell systems.
Location:
- Newburg, MO
Schedule:
- 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM
- 7 days on, 7 days off rotation (Wednesday to Tuesday)
Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders accurately and promptly
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily tasks
- Engage in pharmacokinetic monitoring and interventions
- Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Active pharmacist license in Missouri
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records and Omnicell medication systems is a plus
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently during second shifts
