Travel Pharmacist in Newport, KY

An immediate opening is available for two experienced pharmacists to support a growing digital/mail order pharmacy operation. This travel position offers an opportunity to contribute to a high-volume fulfillment center that dispenses primarily generic medications, along with some brand and specialty products, serving all 50 states plus Washington, DC.

Location: Newport, KY
Schedule Options:

• Option 1: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM, working three 12-hour shifts per week
• Option 2: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM, working five 8-hour shifts per week
  Shift flexibility is essential to cover open and closing operations from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform full-cycle pharmacy dispensing and order fulfillment
• Check and verify prescriptions for accuracy and compliance
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain a smooth workflow
• Quickly adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Kentucky pharmacist license is required (candidates licensed in Cincinnati, OH should confirm KY licensure)
• Background in high-volume retail pharmacy preferred
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to adapt to varying workloads and demands
