A retail and long-term care pharmacy opportunity is available in Hampton, VA, seeking a licensed pharmacist to join on a temporary contract basis for 8+ weeks, starting August 10th. This role is ideal for professionals who excel in customer service and have experience in medication distribution within retail or long-term care settings.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately as prescribed by physicians and authorized health practitioners.
- Provide comprehensive medication information and guidance to customers.
- Ensure a high standard of customer service to support patient care and satisfaction.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Virginia pharmacist license is required.
- Experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy practice is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to maintaining compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
