Per Diem Pharmacist | Niles, Michigan

A per diem opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist experienced in home infusion to provide coverage in a closed-door home infusion environment. This role involves daily operations to ensure accurate and timely dispensing and patient communication.

Location: Niles, MI
Schedule:

• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Coverage period: March 30 – April 6

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and prepare prescriptions for shipment with excellent accuracy
• Communicate proactively with patients regarding upcoming orders to ensure seamless service
• Assist in managing and supporting pharmacy technicians during daily operations

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active and clear Michigan Pharmacist license
• Minimum of 2 years’ pharmacist experience, preferably within a home infusion setting
• Proficient with PioneerRx pharmacy software
• Ability to manage a moderate prescription volume of approximately 5-15 prescriptions per package, averaging 30 packages weekly
• Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively coordinate within a small team consisting of one full-time and one part-time technician
