Pharmacist in Nixa, MO

A healthcare facility in Nixa, MO is seeking two Pharmacists for evening shifts to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the central pharmacy. This 13-week contract offers the potential for extension or transition to permanent employment based on performance and mutual fit.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate workflow within the central pharmacy to maintain smooth operations.
• Verify accuracy and safety of medication products, including IVs, premade IVs, creams, and insulin pens.
• Check code carts to ensure readiness for emergency situations.
• Supervise and occasionally redirect pharmacy technicians to optimize task completion and service delivery.
• Utilize EMR system (EPIC) for documentation and medication management.

Qualifications:

• Valid Missouri Pharmacist license.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead workflow and communicate effectively with pharmacy staff.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably EPIC.

Schedule:

• Evening shift: 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM.
