Pharmacist in Nixa, MO

A pharmacy role is available in Nixa, MO, on a contract basis for 13 weeks with the potential for extension. This position supports central pharmacy operations, focusing on medication verification and workflow coordination using EPIC electronic medical records.

There are four openings available:

• 1st shift: 10-hour shifts with a 7 days on/7 days off schedule
• 2nd shift: 2 openings, 10-hour shifts with a 7 days on/7 days off schedule
• 3rd shift (night): 7 days on/7 days off schedule

Responsibilities include verifying and checking medications, kits, crash carts, prepackaged items, and coordinating daily workflow in the central pharmacy. The pharmacist will also ensure code carts are properly restocked and oversee the activities of pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient operations. While providing oversight, the pharmacist will not have supervisory responsibilities over other staff members. Training will be provided for 2-3 weeks depending on individual capabilities, primarily focused on product verification.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Missouri Pharmacist Licensure required
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Experience with EPIC EMR system preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage workflow efficiently
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with pharmacy staff
