A full-time pharmacist position is available on a contract basis for approximately two months, working on site in Lawrenceville, GA. This role is designed to provide essential relief and help manage a backlog by verifying and dispensing medication orders with accuracy and efficiency.

Location: Lawrenceville, GA (on site)

Schedule:

• Initial training: Minimum of 15 hours alongside current pharmacists, scheduled between 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., spread across several half-day shifts.
• Post-training: 40 hours per week with flexible scheduling options within a 24/7 window.
• Opportunity to work more than 40 hours per week if desired.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Dispense medications according to pharmacy protocols.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to manage and reduce backlog.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in the state of Georgia is required.
• A Maryland pharmacist license is a plus but not mandatory.
• Prior experience in order verification and dispensing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
