Per Diem Pharmacist in Norristown, PA

A pharmacist opportunity is available for coverage from August 3rd to 7th, providing essential support to a pharmacy team in Philadelphia, PA. This per diem position offers daytime hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on first shift, utilizing Pioneer software.

Key responsibilities include dispensing medications accurately and efficiently under the direct supervision of the pharmacy manager. Counseling and advising patients on their medication regimens is an integral part of this role, ensuring patients understand their treatment plans. The pharmacist will also address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in line with organizational policies, helping to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Managing stock levels, including controlled substances, and maintaining accurate drug records and inventories are essential duties. Additionally, resolving patient problems and clarifying third-party insurance coverage issues will be part of daily activities, supporting smooth pharmacy operations.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing with state pharmacy board
• Proficiency with Pioneer pharmacy software or similar platforms
