Per Diem Pharmacist - Norristown, PA

A retail pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide professional pharmaceutical services on a per diem basis for select day shifts. This position offers the opportunity to work in a low-volume, newly opened store environment, utilizing the DRX computer system to support patient care and medication dispensing.

Location:

• Norristown, PA

Schedule:

• Days: July 27, 30, and 31
• Shift hours: 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients in a timely manner.
• Verify prescription information and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Utilize the DRX computer system for prescription processing and inventory management.
• Provide patient counseling and answer medication-related questions.
• Maintain records and documentation consistent with retail pharmacy standards.
• Support store opening operations in a low-volume setting with attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania pharmacy license.
• Previous retail pharmacy experience required.
• Familiarity with the DRX computer system preferred.
