Pharmacist in North Little Rock, AR

A prominent Level 1 Trauma Center and Level 4 NICU Teaching Hospital is seeking an experienced inpatient pharmacist to support its 359-bed, fast-paced medical facility. Responsibilities:

• Manage and dispense medications for inpatients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hospital protocols.
• Utilize IV pharmacy expertise to prepare and verify intravenous medications.
• Collaborate with medical staff to optimize pharmacological treatments.
• Maintain thorough, precise documentation of pharmaceutical activities and interventions.
• Participate in quality assurance and medication safety initiatives within the inpatient setting.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist (RPH) with active credentials.
• Minimum of 2 years inpatient pharmacy experience.
• Mandatory IV pharmacy experience or IV certification.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based hospital environment.
• Must test negative for nicotine prior to employment.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.

Schedule:

• Primary Night Shift: Thursday through Saturday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM; Sunday through Wednesday, 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Weekend Option: Friday through Sunday, 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM.
• Rotation schedule operates on a 7 on/7 off basis beginning Thursday night.
• No on-call responsibilities.
