Schedule & Hours:

• 8-hour shifts with start times at 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, or 11:00 AM
• Workdays vary throughout the week, including weekends
• 11:00 AM shifts are generally not followed by 7:00 AM shifts the next day
• Holiday shifts as needed, typically shorter (4-5 hours)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, verify, and dispense medication orders according to hospital protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure optimal pharmaceutical care
• Utilize hospital pharmacy systems for product verification and order processing
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a pharmacist in a hospital environment
• Proficiency with standard hospital pharmacy orders and medication verification
• Experience with Cerner pharmacy systems preferred
• Valid Alaska pharmacist license or ability to obtain a temporary license promptly (within 24 hours of job acceptance)
