Schedule/Hours:

• 8-hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, or 11:00 AM
• Variable days throughout the week, including weekends
• Holiday shifts as needed, typically shorter (4-5 hours)
• An 11:00 AM shift is not usually followed by a 7:00 AM shift

Responsibilities:

• Manage and verify standard hospital pharmacy orders with accuracy
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe medication use
• Utilize hospital systems for medication management and documentation
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year pharmacist experience in a hospital setting
• Proficient in standard hospital pharmacy orders and product verification
• Experience with Cerner pharmacy system preferred
• Must hold a current Alaska Pharmacist license or be willing to obtain a temporary license within 24 hours of job acceptance
