Pharmacist - North Vernon, Indiana

A federally qualified health center (FQHC) and 340B pharmacy in North Vernon, IN, seeks a licensed pharmacist for a contract position from October 5th through 9th. This role requires strong knowledge of pharmacy operations within regulated environments and proficiency in Liberty RX software.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing drugs and prescription orders for pickup or delivery
• Overseeing ordering of equipment and pharmacy supplies
• Managing inventory controls and verifying expiration dates
• Applying best practice protocols for storage of prescription drugs and controlled substances
• Verifying prescription details with healthcare providers as needed
• Maintaining accurate records of inventory, patient information, and insurance claims
• Monitoring pharmacy appearance, product displays, and shelf organization
• Providing telepharmacy support when required
• Collaborating with the Pharmacy Manager on staff progress and pharmacy needs
• Ensuring compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Addressing customer requests and complaints promptly
• Maintaining daily retail pharmacy operations

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid Indiana Pharmacist license (verified)
• Immunization license
• Resume, skills checklist, and professional references
• Bilingual skills in Spanish are a plus
