Responsibilities include:

• Verifying medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety
• Supervising and providing oversight to pharmacy technicians
• Collaborating with nurses and physicians to optimize patient care through clinical consultation
• Applying pharmacokinetics principles to individualized patient treatment plans
• Navigating and utilizing the Paragon/Allscripts order entry system efficiently
• Managing Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets to streamline medication distribution
• Flexibly floating to sister hospitals within a 10-15 mile radius as required

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in good standing
• Proven experience in acute care pharmacy settings
• Familiarity with Paragon and Allscripts order entry systems
• Proficient in managing Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets
