Pharmacist - Ogden, Utah

Join a dynamic pharmacy team in Ogden, UT, as a Travel Pharmacy Technician on a 13-week contract with an option to extend. This role offers the opportunity to work a 2nd shift schedule, specifically from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, including every other weekend, providing a balanced work-life routine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
• Manage inventory and ensure the proper storage of medications
• Assist pharmacists in daily pharmacy operations
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and valid Utah Pharmacy Technician license (mandatory due to licensing difficulty)
• Experience working in a pharmacy, preferably in hospital or clinical settings
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices, medication names, and dosage calculations
• Ability to work efficiently during the 2nd shift hours and weekends
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
