Pharmacist - Omaha, Nebraska

An immediate opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support inpatient behavioral health services in Council Bluffs, IA. This contract assignment begins on May 18 and will continue until a permanent hire is secured. The role is perfect for a pharmacist with hands-on experience in specialized medication handling and automated pharmacy systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately following hospital protocols in an inpatient behavioral health setting.
• Utilize Omnicell systems to manage medication dispensing efficiently.
• Perform repackaging of medications using Milt/Medi-dose or HCL systems.
• Load drugs into automated dispensing machines and generate restock reports.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient medication management.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid Iowa Pharmacist license is required.
• Proven experience with Omnicell medication dispensing technology preferred.
• Familiarity with repackaging methods via Milt/Medi-dose or HCL systems.
• Basic knowledge of automated dispensing machine operations and inventory restocking procedures.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.

Schedule/Hours:

• Saturday and Sunday, 6 hours per day.
