Pharmacist in Omaha, NE

This part-time Retail Pharmacist position supports a grocery store pharmacy in Omaha, Nebraska, through an ongoing contract assignment. The role offers a flexible two-week rotating schedule designed to balance pharmacy needs with candidate availability.

Schedule:

• Week 1: Sunday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM; Tuesday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Friday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (24 hours total)
• Week 2: Tuesday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Saturday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (17 hours total)
• Schedule flexibility is available upon discussion with the Pharmacy Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescription accuracy and ensure patient safety
• Provide counseling and guidance to patients as needed
• Oversee pharmacy workflow and coordinate technician activities
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment

Qualifications:

• Active Nebraska Pharmacist license in good standing
• Recent retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong verbal communication and customer service abilities

• Experience with McKesson Enterprise is preferred but not required
