Travel Retail Pharmacist in Oneonta, NY

A full-time outpatient retail pharmacist opportunity is available in Cooperstown, New York, at a well-established health system known for quality care and strong community ties. This role primarily serves a high-volume outpatient retail pharmacy filling approximately 1,100 prescriptions weekly, with occasional coverage required at nearby Oneonta and Delhi locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense and review prescriptions accurately in a fast-paced outpatient retail setting
• Provide immunization services and support the Meds to Beds program for hospital patients
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to ensure optimal medication therapy management
• Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining professional and supportive patient interactions
• Utilize Pharmacy Management System (PioneerRx) and EMR system (EPIC) for processing prescriptions, insurance, and demographic information

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active New York State Pharmacist License in good standing
• Proven outpatient retail pharmacy experience, with comfort managing a high volume of prescriptions
• Familiarity with PioneerRx and EPIC systems strongly preferred
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain credential
• Ability to provide occasional staffing support at Oneonta and Delhi locations
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service is essential

Location:
Cooperstown, NY, with travel flexibility for occasional coverage in Oneonta and Delhi

Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, full-time (40 hours/week)
