Pharmacist - Ontario, Ohio

An experienced inpatient pharmacist is needed to support patient care at one of two hospital locations in North/Central Ohio, situated between Cleveland and Columbus. Both facilities provide quality healthcare and use EPIC electronic medical records systems.

This 26-week contract position requires flexibility for shifts beginning between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM, with a schedule that includes working every fourth weekend.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising pharmacy technicians and managing daily inpatient pharmacy operations
• Overseeing clean room procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards
• Collaborating effectively with physicians and nursing teams to optimize medication therapies
• Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation using EPIC systems

Qualifications:

• Current and active Ohio pharmacist license
• Previous inpatient pharmacy experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare setting

Locations Available:

• Hospital with 25 beds in Galion, OH
• Hospital with 40 beds in Ontario, OH
