Per Diem Pharmacist | Ooltewah, Tennessee

A per diem pharmacist position is available to provide coverage at an independent compounding pharmacy specializing in mail order medications. This role supports ongoing staffing needs with an immediate assignment from May 27-29, as well as additional opportunities beyond these dates. The pharmacy processes approximately 1,000 compounded prescriptions daily, demonstrating a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment.

Location:

• Ooltewah, TN (serving the Chattanooga area)

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Lunch break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
• Closed on weekends

Responsibilities include:

• Supervising a team of five pharmacy technicians responsible for data entry, prescription filling, and customer communications
• Addressing and resolving pharmacist-level inquiries
• Managing the mail order eye drop department, which ships three variations of post-cataract surgery eye drops

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Tennessee pharmacist license in good standing
• Minimum of 1-2 years of professional pharmacist experience
• Previous mail order pharmacy experience is preferred but not required
