Per Diem Pharmacist in Ooltewah, TN

A per diem pharmacist opportunity is available in Ooltewah, TN, supporting an independent compounding pharmacy known for processing approximately 1,000 compounds daily. This role involves providing critical coverage during vacation periods, including initial coverage from May 27-29, with the possibility of ongoing intermittent shifts as needed.

Location: Ooltewah, TN

Schedule:

• Pharmacy Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Lunch Break: 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
• Weekend closure (Saturday and Sunday)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee a team of five pharmacy technicians responsible for data entry, order fulfillment, and handling phone inquiries
• Address and resolve pharmacist-level questions and issues as they arise
• Supervise the mail order eye drop department specializing in three variations of post-cataract surgery eye drops for shipment

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, active Tennessee Pharmacist License in good standing
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience as a practicing pharmacist
• Mail order pharmacy experience is preferred but not mandatory
