Per Diem Pharmacist | Ooltewah, Tennessee

A growing independent compounding pharmacy is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to provide vacation coverage for ongoing needs in Chattanooga, TN. This role offers the opportunity to contribute your expertise in a fast-paced environment specializing in compound medications, processing approximately 1,000 compounds daily.

Responsibilities include overseeing a team of five pharmacy technicians who manage data entry, prescription fills, and customer communications. You will also supervise the mail order eye drop department, which ships three specialized post-cataract surgery eye drop formulations. Additionally, you will handle pharmacist-level inquiries and ensure smooth daily operations.

Pharmacy Hours and Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Lunch break: 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
• Closed on Saturdays and Sundays

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacist license in the state of Tennessee in good standing
• Minimum of 1-2 years of pharmacist experience
• Prior mail order pharmacy experience preferred but not mandatory
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to supervise and coordinate pharmacy staff effectively
