Per Diem Pharmacist - Ooltewah, TN

An independent compounding pharmacy located near Chattanooga, TN is seeking a skilled Per Diem Pharmacist to provide vacation coverage and support ongoing operational needs. Location: Ooltewah, TN
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM lunch break
• Saturday and Sunday: Closed
  Job Type: Per Diem

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee a team of five pharmacy technicians responsible for data entry, prescription fills, and customer interactions
• Address and answer any pharmacist-level inquiries or concerns that arise during operational hours
• Supervise the mail order eye drop department, managing shipments of three varieties of post-cataract surgery eye drops
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and ensure high standards of patient care and safety

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Pharmacist License in good standing with the State of Tennessee
• Minimum of 1-2 years of pharmacist experience; mail order experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong leadership capabilities to effectively manage and guide pharmacy technicians
• Ideal candidates include retired or semi-retired pharmacists as well as reliable recent graduates seeking per diem opportunities
