This opportunity is for a PRN pharmacist to support a growing compounding pharmacy specializing in non-sterile and soon-to-launch sterile compounding services. The pharmacy operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in Doral, FL, with additional per diem shifts available in September and October.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
  • Support operational workflows during the sterile compounding launch.
  • Review and update policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy Operations to streamline pharmacy functions.
  • Provide pharmacist coverage as needed during business hours.

Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Pharmacist License required.
  • Experience in compounding pharmacy, either sterile or non-sterile, is highly preferred.
  • Background in pharmacy start-ups is a plus.
  • Retail pharmacy experience is acceptable.
  • Willingness to train on compounding procedures if necessary.

About the Pharmacy: This newly established site is affiliated with a national telehealth pharmacy company, focusing on GLP-1 medications, hormone replacement therapy, and primarily female hormone therapies. The pharmacy is a small, close-knit team with around five on-site employees, supported by remote clinical and operational staff. The sterile compounding facility build is complete, and the launch is imminent, reflecting the pharmacy’s active expansion.
