Per Diem Pharmacist - Opelousas, Louisiana

A Per Diem Pharmacist position is available in the Lafayette, Louisiana area, scheduled for February 12th. This role requires a pharmacist to provide medication dispensing services from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM during the first shift. The pharmacy utilizes PioneerRx software.

This opportunity is ideal for pharmacists familiar with HIV medications and 340B pharmacy programs, given the specialized focus of this location. However, pharmacists with retail experience are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and ensure safe, efficient delivery to customers.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in line with organizational guidelines.
• Maintain stock levels and manage controlled drug records and inventories under direct supervision.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear pharmacist license in the state of Louisiana.
• Experience with HIV medications and 340B pharmacy is highly preferred.
• Retail pharmacy experience will be considered.
