Pharmacist | Orange Cove, California

A community health center pharmacy located in Orange Cove, CA, requires an experienced full-time pharmacist for immediate coverage. This is a contract position starting ASAP with an initial duration of four weeks, with the possibility of extension. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately in a community health center setting
• Utilize Rx30 pharmacy management system effectively
• Collaborate with experienced pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth pharmacy operations
• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and safety
• Maintain compliance with all applicable pharmacy laws and regulations
• Manage inventory and restocking as needed to support patient care

Qualifications and Experience:

• Recent retail or community pharmacy experience is essential
• Licensure as a Pharmacist in the relevant state required
• Proficient in using Rx30 or similar pharmacy systems
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, well-run pharmacy environment
