A rehabilitation hospital in the Jacksonville area is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for a 13-week contract position. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital environment, focusing on providing excellent pharmaceutical care to patients recovering from various conditions. Local candidates are preferred; however, qualified travelers will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
• Collaborate closely with nurses and physicians to optimize patient care
• Manage medication inventory and compliance with hospital policies
• Provide drug information and consultation as needed

Qualifications:

• Active Florida Pharmacist license required
• Previous hospital or rehab facility experience highly preferred

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, day shifts
