This opportunity seeks a skilled Pharmacist to provide dedicated night shift coverage in a hospital setting. Candidates will work a consistent 7-on, 7-off schedule during nighttime hours, delivering critical pharmacy services that support patient care and collaborate closely with medical staff.

Location: Orland Park, IL (near Chicago)
Schedule:

• 7 days on, 7 days off
• 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Duration: 13 weeks+

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders and ensure accuracy
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support pharmacy operations
• Consult with physicians and nurses regarding medication management
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize patient therapy
• Utilize hospital systems such as EPIC and Pyxis for medication dispensing and documentation

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active Illinois pharmacist license
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Ability to work overnight shifts reliably
• Strong communication and clinical skills
• Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems a plus
