An opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to join a healthcare-focused pharmacy serving skilled nursing, rehabilitation centers, and assisted living communities in the Orlando, FL area. This temp-to-hire position begins as soon as possible and offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to providing precise, patient-centered medication services.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Weekday evening shifts: 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM
• Every other weekend day shift: 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM (with possible shift shortening options)
• Weekend shifts may vary between 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM or 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense and verify medications delivered in unit-dose format to meet the specific needs of skilled nursing and assisted living facilities
• Collaborate with facility staff to ensure seamless medication management and compliance with electronic medical record systems
• Maintain accurate records, provide medication counseling, and ensure safety protocols are upheld
• Utilize pharmacy software systems with bi-directional interfaces to facilitate efficient communication with healthcare providers

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current pharmacist licensure and in good standing
• Experience in institutional pharmacy settings, particularly with skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or assisted living facilities preferred
• Familiarity with unit-dose medication distribution and electronic medical records integration
