Pharmacist Opportunity – Temp-to-Hire – North Orlando Area

This position offers a chance to contribute your pharmacy expertise within an institutional pharmacy environment that services skilled nursing, rehabilitation centers, and assisted living communities. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate medication dispensing and support customized medical record integration for healthcare facilities.

Location:

• Sanford, FL (North Orlando)

Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Weekday shift: 4:00 pm – 2:00 am
• Every other weekend shift: 8:30 am – 6:30 pm (day shift)
• Alternative shift options available such as 6:00 pm – 2:00 am and 8:30 am – 4:30 pm weekend shifts to accommodate preferences

Responsibilities:

• Dispense unit-dose medications accurately to meet the specific needs of skilled nursing and assisted living facilities
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to support optimal pharmaceutical care
• Manage customized medication records and ensure integration with electronic medical record systems using bi-directional interfaces
• Maintain compliance with institutional policies and state pharmacy regulations

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Pharmacist in the state of Florida
• Experience working in institutional or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in medication dispensing
• Ability to adapt to varied shift schedules and provide weekend coverage as required
• Comfortable working with electronic medical record systems and software interfaces
