Per Diem Pharmacist - Orlando, Florida

Support pharmacist coverage in Orlando, Florida on a per diem basis, providing essential medication dispensing and patient counseling in a retail pharmacy setting. This role operates under the direct supervision of the pharmacy manager, ensuring accuracy and safety in medication delivery.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
• 1st shift

Term of assignment: March 13 and March 16 through March 20

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately while ensuring patient safety and adherence to regulations
• Counsel patients on medication use, potential side effects, and proper regimens
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints according to organizational policies
• Maintain stock levels and control drug records and inventories meticulously
• Resolve patient issues and clarify third-party insurance coverage questions
• Utilize Pioneer software for medication management and record-keeping

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in Florida
• Minimum of 1+ year of experience in retail pharmacy environments
