Per Diem Pharmacist in Orlando, FL

A Per Diem Pharmacist role is available to provide essential medication dispensing and patient counseling services under direct managerial supervision. This position demands attention to detail and a commitment to delivering safe pharmaceutical care in Orlando, Florida.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently to customers.
• Counsel patients on proper medication use and regimens.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in line with organizational policies.
• Maintain accurate stock and controlled substance records and inventories.
• Resolve patient issues and clarify third-party insurance coverage as needed.

Qualifications:

• Current, active pharmacist license in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in retail pharmacy.
• Familiarity with Pioneer pharmacy software is preferred.

Schedule:

• 1st shift hours
• Monday through Thursday: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM

This Per Diem opportunity spans a short-term assignment from March 13th and March 16th through March 20th, offering flexible days with valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic pharmacy environment.
