Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of specialty pharmacy practice areas such as IV room, narcotics management, informatics, and residency coordination.
- Provide pharmaceutical care as a staff pharmacist when needed.
- Support, maintain, and troubleshoot pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Coordinate testing, upgrades, staff education, and serve as subject matter expert for specialty areas.
- Deliver training and serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents.
Qualifications and Experience:
- B.S. or Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Clinical hospital pharmacy experience.
- Completion of accredited PGY-1 and PGY-2 residencies or equivalent combination of residency and clinical experience (minimum of 3 years post-PGY-1).
- Active Oklahoma Pharmacist license in good standing.
- BLS and ALS/ACLS certifications.
- Sterile compounding knowledge compliant with state regulations.
Preferred Credentials:
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
- Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) certification or equivalent nationally recognized specialty certification.
