Pharmacist in Owatonna, MN

This position invites experienced pharmacists to apply their expertise within a specialty pharmacy setting focused on long-term care. The role offers a commitment of 13+ weeks, with flexible hours ranging from 24 to 40 per week. Primary workdays are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with occasional weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and dispense medications tailored for long-term care patients
• Provide pharmaceutical care to optimize patient outcomes
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Conduct medication therapy management (MTM) and patient counseling
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and pharmacy protocols

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree preferred
• Immunization certification required
• CPR certification mandatory
• Experience in long-term care pharmacy practices
• Knowledge of medication therapy management (MTM) is highly desirable
