Pharmacist - Owen, Wisconsin

Join a rewarding opportunity as a travel pharmacist serving a small, 40-bed hospital in Northern Central Wisconsin. This contract role offers a dynamic inpatient pharmacy environment with diverse responsibilities and a flexible schedule to support your work-life balance.

Location: Owen, WI

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour day shifts per week (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.), including rotating weekends
• Alternatively, a blocked schedule of 7 days on, 7 days off, day shifts available
• Immediate start, 13+ week assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify EPIC medication orders and ensure accuracy in dispensing for inpatient and outpatient services
• Provide and manage inpatient unit dose medications, outpatient and inpatient IV therapies, including chemotherapy
• Oversee and verify technician work within the central inpatient pharmacy, while managing multiple tasks efficiently
• Communicate effectively with clinical teams across med/surg, ICU, OB/GYN, ED, and oncology units to support patient care
• Maintain high standards of pharmacy practice in a fast-paced hospital setting with an inpatient census averaging 30-40 patients

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy practice
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records strongly preferred
• Capability to handle diverse pharmacy duties including chemotherapy preparation and verification
• Ability to adapt to rotating schedules and meet the demands of a small hospital environment
