Pharmacist - Oxnard, CA

This opportunity is for a licensed Pharmacist to provide coverage during a leave of absence at an infusion pharmacy supporting a cancer center. The ideal candidate will bring current chemo/oncology pharmacy experience to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Location:

• Oxnard, CA

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No nights or weekends

Duration:

• Approximately 13 weeks, with potential for extension
• Start date to be determined, possibly beginning in January

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense chemotherapy and oncology medications accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate closely with the cancer center care team to ensure proper drug utilization and patient therapy plans
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety protocols specific to oncology pharmacy practice
• Provide detailed medication counseling and support to patients and healthcare staff

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacist license
• Proven, current experience in chemotherapy and oncology pharmacy services
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed to the assignment location
