A pharmacist position is available at a well-established hospital located in Oxnard, CA, part of the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area. This opportunity offers night shifts on a 7 on, 7 off schedule, working approximately from 9:00 pm to 7:30 am. The hospital has around 300 beds and utilizes Cerner and Omnicell systems, offering a modern, tech-enabled environment for pharmacy professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately dispense medications and verify prescriptions during night shifts
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy
  • Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems for medication management and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements for safe pharmacy practices
  • Provide excellent pharmaceutical care and patient counseling when needed

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Pharmacist in good standing
  • Experience with Cerner and Omnicell systems preferred, or willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
