Pharmacist - Oxnard, CA

A full-time inpatient pharmacist opportunity is available at a well-established medical center in Ventura County. This role primarily involves supporting inpatient pharmacy services with a dynamic schedule that includes 8- and 10-hour shifts, mainly four 10-hour shifts per week. The schedule is variable and may include swing shifts, some weekends, and occasional holidays, offering a stimulating and flexible work environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Dispensing and verifying medications for inpatient care
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintaining accurate medication records and inventory control
• Participating in pharmacy rounds and clinical consultations
• Adhering to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications or Desired Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacist license is required
• Experience in a hospital pharmacy setting preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner pharmacy systems a plus, with training available
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
