A night shift pharmacist position is available at a 300-bed hospital located in Southeast Alabama, offering an opportunity to contribute to quality patient care in a dynamic hospital setting. Location: Southeast Alabama (Ozark/Dothan area)
Job Type: Contract (13 weeks +, with potential temp-to-hire)
Schedule:

• Night Shift
• 7 consecutive nights on, 7 consecutive nights off
• 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Primary Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians ensuring compliance with protocols
• Consult and collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapy and patient needs
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation related to medication dispensing and interventions
• Contribute to the hospital’s medication safety and quality assurance initiatives

Desired Qualifications:

• Current pharmacist license in Alabama required
• Proven hospital pharmacy experience essential
