Pharmacist - Ozark, Missouri

A pharmacy position is available for a Pharmacist to support evening shifts in a hospital setting. This contract role offers an opportunity to engage in comprehensive medication management within a dynamic team environment.

Location: Ozark, MO
Number of Openings: 2
Shift: Evenings, 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM, working 7 days on followed by 7 days off (Thursday through Wednesday)
Assignment Length: 13 weeks, with a strong possibility of extension and potential for temp-to-hire based on performance
Electronic Medical Record System: EPIC

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate workflow within the central pharmacy to ensure efficient operations
• Verify accuracy and appropriateness of medication products including intravenous solutions, premade IVs, creams, and insulin pens
• Check code carts for readiness and proper medication stocking
• Oversee pharmacy technicians’ workflow and delegate tasks to optimize productivity and patient safety
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to support medication management processes

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Missouri or eligible for licensure (new graduates encouraged to apply)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
• Familiarity with EPIC or willingness to quickly learn the EMR system
