A night shift pharmacist opportunity is available in a 200-bed community hospital in Florida, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This contract role is ideal for pharmacists with hospital inpatient experience, ready to contribute to high-quality patient care during overnight hours.

Location:

• Palm City, FL

Schedule:

• Night shift: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 7 days on, 7 days off

Duration:

• 13 weeks+, with an ASAP start

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles in medication management
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Utilize Meditech and Pyxis systems for medication dispensing and documentation

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active Florida pharmacist license
• Proven hospital inpatient pharmacy experience
• Comfortable working night shifts
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team setting
