A pharmacy position is available for a Pharmacist to support an inpatient behavioral health setting in Council Bluffs, IA. This contract assignment begins May 18 and will continue until a permanent pharmacist is hired. The role involves working weekend shifts—Saturday and Sunday—for 6 hours each day.

Ideal candidates will hold an active Iowa pharmacist license and have experience working with Omnicell systems. Familiarity with drug repackaging processes using Milt/Medi-dose or HCL is highly desirable. A foundational understanding of tasks such as loading medications into automated dispensing machines and generating restock reports is essential to perform efficiently in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately within an inpatient behavioral health environment
• Utilize Omnicell and related automated systems for medication management
• Perform drug repackaging with Milt/Medi-dose or HCL methods as needed
• Manage and run drug restock reports ensuring continuous availability
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care

Qualifications:

• Valid Iowa pharmacist license required
