This part-time Retail Pharmacist opportunity in a grocery store pharmacy offers an engaging role with a flexible, two-week rotating schedule based in Omaha, Nebraska. The position is contract-based with ongoing hours, providing a dynamic work environment where your expertise supports both patient care and pharmacy operations.

Schedule Overview:

• Week 1: Sunday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM; Tuesday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Friday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (24 hours)
• Week 2: Tuesday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Saturday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (17 hours)
  Note: The Pharmacy Manager is open to schedule adjustments to accommodate candidate needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescription accuracy and ensure safe dispensing
• Provide effective patient counseling and medication education
• Oversee pharmacy workflow and support pharmacy technicians
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Deliver excellent customer service in a retail environment

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Nebraska Pharmacist license in good standing
• Preferably recent experience in retail pharmacy settings
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Flexibility to adapt schedule as needed
• Experience with McKesson Enterprise is preferred but not required
