A healthcare facility in Northern California is seeking three full-time Staff Pharmacists to join their dynamic pharmacy team. This direct hire opportunity offers varied 10-hour shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and nights with no fixed days off, providing flexibility in scheduling within a Level II Trauma Center setting. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver clinical judgment, professional expertise, and pharmaceutical distribution services aligned with departmental and hospital mission.
  • Identify, resolve, and prevent drug-related problems ensuring optimal patient care.
  • Adhere to established policies, procedures, and applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Support service excellence initiatives within the pharmacy department and hospital.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of one year hospital experience in an inpatient, decentralized pharmacy setting.
  • Proficiency with pharmacy computer programs and Windows operating systems.
  • Strong application of drug knowledge and clinical judgment.

Licensing and Certification:

  • Current Registered Pharmacist license in good standing with the State of California.
  • Current ACLS and PALS certifications (with until July 31, 2027 to obtain if not currently held).

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Capacity to manage frequent interruptions and adapt to changing workloads and schedules.
  • Prioritize tasks, make critical decisions quickly, and respond to emergencies using sound professional judgment.
  • Knowledge of CII Safe/PYXIS operations required.
  • Must fulfill all essential job functions.
