A clinical IV pharmacist opportunity is available in Paragould, AR, offering a contract-to-hire arrangement for 3 to 6 months. This role demands a pharmacist with strong clinical expertise, particularly in intravenous (IV) therapy, who can contribute to a collaborative healthcare environment.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Every third weekend rotation

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify IV orders to ensure accuracy and patient safety
• Prepare and mix IV medications within a clean room environment when necessary
• Perform a variety of clinical pharmacy duties, including interpreting lab results to support patient care
• Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in various pharmacy tasks as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year current experience as an IV pharmacist
• Active and clear Arkansas pharmacist license
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening
• Proficient clinical skills, especially in reading and interpreting laboratory values
